Creswell Crags

Today I visited a place called the Creswell Crags.  This was a gorge with a few caves where a handful of items pertaining to around or before the ice ages had been found.  We got to explore, look around, and get a rather basic level education on some of the items that might have been used by the humans and neanderthals over 12,000 years ago.  The experience of looking through thousands of years of history is not something I can readily explain to you: the point is that where you are standing, and the things you are holding, have been around for such a long time, and that even before your time, people were wondering over how incredible it is that an object like that has lasted throughout the ages.   Here is a picture of a) the visitor center, b) the gorge, and c) the inside of one of the caves.  Enjoy!  And do tell me if there is anything more you'd like to see!  Any questions you have.  Pose them over the internet, and I will answer them as soon as I can!
