...FOOD!!!!!!

Not doing that much today, so I am going to do a post I've been looking forward to.  It's a post all about food.  Yumyumyumyum YUM!  YUMMY!!!!  Since there are a lot of foods here that I haven't been able to eat in THREE WHOLE YEARS you can imagine that the chance to eat British food is sooooo exciting.
And it wasn't like I had to wait.  Chamy and I got to enjoy a Cadbury Crunchie in Vancouver, and the very first meal I had the night I arrived in England was Fish and Chips!  And not just the battered fish-sticks and fries the U.S. calls "fish and chips," I mean REAL cod and soggy chips!  It's SO good!  My brother was so ticked that he crashed that night, that he didn't wake up, and that he therefore missed real British fish and chips.

As if that wasn't enough, the candy over here is INCREDIBLE!!!!!  Winegums, Cadbury EVERYTHING (especially Crunchie and Flake) and all those bakery items!  OHMNOM NOM NOM!
So what is everything?  Winegums are very chewy, delicious little fruit candy (no wine, no alcohol).  Cadbury is a chocolate company (think like Hershey's) that makes a whole ton of awesome chocolate things like the Crunchie (a bar of honeycomb covered in chocolate), the Flake (a paper thin sheet of chocolate folded in on itself so that it is a very flaky stick of chocolate) and of course, straight up chocolate (the best in the world!).

Oh, and drinks.  There are tons of awesome drinks here.  My favorite is one called Ribena.  It's a juice drink, made from small berries called blackcurrants.  It's so good, that last time I was in England, I got a bottle of the stuff in Heathrow before we flew back, and I drank it, and then kept the bottle for at least a year because it still smelled SO GOOD!!!

   I like LOVE British food!
