Porsche 924

One very big difference that someone can notice when they come to England, and, by extension, coming to Europe, there's an enormous slew of different cars, both new and old.  There are separate brands, such as Skoda, Citroen, Renault, and Peugeot.  You can also see lots of different models from the same brands that you see in the states.  For example, there is a car from Ford called the Mondeo.  In essence, it is a smaller version of the Fusion: it's a sedan, but it's smaller.
Some cars, however are the same across the ocean.  A lot of the same cars are sports cars, like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and other super cars.  My grandfather owns an old Porsche 924.  This isn't, obviously, a super car in the league of the aforementioned Italian breeds, but it is a very quick, very fun 28 year-old driver's car.

The Porsche is balanced, it turns really well, and it was really comfortable.  Somehow, when it turns it feels secure.  The acceleration, even at low speeds, is so incredible and exhilarating that one has a hard time putting into words during the moment.
After the fact, though, it's easy to say that it was awesome!  I also know that if you can purchase a Porshe 924 or a Porsche 944 second hand nowadays, they are (according to Jeremy Clarckson, so take it with a grain of salt) a very good and fun value.  Personally, if I could go and buy one, (after getting my driver's license, of course!) I think I would.
