That title? It's the name of a place. The town's name is "Walton on the Naze." Our first matter of business was to visit the Naze tower. It's rather a large tower, and given the steepness of the steps on the inside, it's an almost exhausting climb to reach the top. But once you do, the view is spectacular!
This is the view from the top of the tower. It's actually quite grand in person. This, however, is only a section of that view. In particular, this is a view of what I have decided would make an epic Ultimate pitch. Sure, it's a little windy, but the wind comes off the sea, and the space is so grand.
This is a view of the cliffs that the tower stands upon. Perhaps it's only because I've had too much experience in the states, but for some strange reason I find these cliffs to be strangely... American. Below the picture of the cliffs is the picture of the beach by the seaside. I have no picture to illustrate this, but Walton sits right in between Clacton and Harwich, also on the seaside.
Chamy also had some other adventures: this is him in the main street at Frinton. And below that is him at Frinton Pier. Oh, that incredible arcade. I have no idea how long I spent in there, watching as my family members put two pence piece after two pence piece into the machine, getting some more two pence pieces back, and then putting those into the machine. When one starts with 40p worth of coins, that one can easily waste AGES of time just putting the coins in, waiting as some more coins come out, etc. etc. Honestly, I was there, waiting, for ages.
As always, enjoy the pics!
